drink: THE BLASTAWAY

Going to the Airport to check out low flying airplanes?
 Take this!

The original recipe for the Blastaway called for Apple Cider, which I couldn't find at the time, so I used Apple juice and upped the vodka. Obviously that couldn't hurt. :) You could also use Cranberry, because what you want is something not too sweet or cloying.
And like I always say "Adjust to your taste." Nobody is paying you to do it their way.

THE BLASTAWAY!

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine all ingredients.
  2. Serve on the rocks.
  3. (That means on ice. ;))

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 parts Vodka
  • 1 part Peach schnapps
  • 2 parts Orange juice
  • 1 part Passion fruit juice
  • 2 parts Cranberry Juice (or Apple if you have it)
  • 1 part White wine
The recipe is in parts, so you can easily adjust it for the amount of people you are serving or for how bad your day has been. Make a large batch, grab some cups and a bag of ice and take it with you to Maho beach. Enjoy the feel of your toes in the sand, while you watch (mostly) tourists test their strengths against the roaring blast of a jet engine. Enjoy the Blastaway!
